A couple of hours off of Mordor, and of pudding and such

Even midst the Mordor quest, one sometimes needs a couple of hours just to hang about town, look at Christmas lights, perhaps even procure the first gift or two. And perhaps visit your favorite Lego set dealer. And have a cappuccino to go.

Speaking of cappuccinos... I've had a couple of those protein puddings I stopped eating the summer before. So far, no negative side effects. But I should be careful not to eat too many of them too close to December. Having them in the beginning of November is a nice idea, since it resuscitates my sweet cravings just enough for me to then suffer the last two weeks of November when I don't eat them or anything else sweet.

So yeah! Here are the things:

  1. Looking at Christmas stuff and taking a couple of hours off of work to just be is just fine and perhaps a good idea.
  2. No more sweet things. Not even whipped cream. Nor fudges.

Here's to the rest of the month which, as I look at my calendar now, should be quite interesting since, as it stands, there are several other things than work there.
