How not to go crazy on vacation
Back in the paleolithic era, I made a video on WIP about vacations and what to do with them. Why this is relevant, no one knows. What I do know is that
- Relaxation only looks good on those to whom it's not a natural state, and
- Do not let relaxation become your natural state.
Natural state is avoided by only doing something rarely and for short periods of time. If you relax and/or are on vacation all the time, you're doomed to look bad at least. You could even go crazy.
Therefore, if the threat of extended vacation is upon you: do something. Read Moby-Dick. Paint a mural. Learn coding. Anything to keep your calendar packed.
Furthermore, assign administrative tasks for each day of the week. (Wednesday is cleaning day. Thursday is laundry day. Monday is cafe day.)
With this strategy, you can vacate with peace!
(One more thing: with your plate full like this, for the love of God, don't forget to shower. Shower is important. It's unnecessarily difficult to look good without shower.)
