I had some dairy (after a month without)

As briefly mentioned in this article, I nowadays don't eat much dairy apart from butter. Compared to last autumn, when I would have homemade panna cotta almost every day, this is quite the change. For the last month or so, I haven't even had the once-in-a-blue-moon ice cream I used to enjoy, and the plan was to have some after that month of being dairy free.

And when I say some, I mean a ton. A ton of ice cream. And toppings. That included whipped cream, chocolate of different sorts, strawberries, and a caramel doughnut.

It was quite glorious.

Also, joint pain, bloated face, and what felt like acid burning the inner lining of my stomach.

Let me repeat: it was glorious.

(And before you scream that is was the sugar: sure, perhaps it was the sugar. But I had also eaten fruit regularly for that past month without such side effects, and everyone knows fruit turns straight into sugar, so perhaps it was not the sugar.)

Nutshelly said: perhaps I should not eat dairy.
