I suppose it IS possible that I fail my work goals this fall

First of all, no, the Penthouse isn't progressing at all at the moment, although I had some perfectly doable ideas in the article the other day. It's over a week later, and nothing on the list has been done. I'm starting to think it'll stay that way, at least in the weeks leading up to December.

Second... ahh, I was supposed to publish five books this week, wasn't I? Yet, it's Saturday, nothing is finished. Nothing. I think I'll just kick into second gear next week.

Which, incidentally, might be the most productive week this month, because I have no appointments or errands to run that week.

Unlike the last week of November, which is the week after, which will be filled with all kinds of appointments and errands. (Namely... my dentist appointment. I'm starting to freak out a little.)

The point is that even if I did manage to get those next five out next week, I still have three books left to publish to reach my goal of 13, and only one week to do it... from scratch.

No manuscripts waiting in the drawer.

Nothing ready.

No ideas.

Mordor.
