I've learned to pay to look the way I want

I had an appointment with my hairdresser today. A few noteworthy things to note as worthy:

  1. I'm incredibly lucky to have found the hairdresser who does my hair. She knows exactly what to do - I always leave the salon loving my new look. This time, she toned my hair and cut off all the dead ends. I now have a sophisticated, ash blonde lob. I love it. I look as elegant as I feel.
  2. Paying for hairdressing services is a fantastic idea. I used to think that it's a waste of money. It's not. It definitely is not.
  3. Nor is spending some time every day doing your hair.
  4. Nor is haircare in general.
  5. Nor is makeup and skincare.
  6. Nor is buying new clothes and paying attention to your style.

Darn it, I've come so far from the days when I thought that looks didn't matter and that I was "above" spending time or money on my aesthetics.

Of course looks matter.

Especially if you have a tendency to waste time worrying about your looks - when a few simple solutions were always up for purchase.

After all, time is infinitely more valuable than money.
