I've learned to pay to look the way I want
I had an appointment with my hairdresser today. A few noteworthy things to note as worthy:
- I'm incredibly lucky to have found the hairdresser who does my hair. She knows exactly what to do - I always leave the salon loving my new look. This time, she toned my hair and cut off all the dead ends. I now have a sophisticated, ash blonde lob. I love it. I look as elegant as I feel.
- Paying for hairdressing services is a fantastic idea. I used to think that it's a waste of money. It's not. It definitely is not.
- Nor is spending some time every day doing your hair.
- Nor is haircare in general.
- Nor is makeup and skincare.
- Nor is buying new clothes and paying attention to your style.
Darn it, I've come so far from the days when I thought that looks didn't matter and that I was "above" spending time or money on my aesthetics.
Of course looks matter.
Especially if you have a tendency to waste time worrying about your looks - when a few simple solutions were always up for purchase.
After all, time is infinitely more valuable than money.
