Random Saturday thoughts

It's Saturday! And in the fashion of named days being completely random to me, I'm doing what I'd do on any given weekday - I'm sitting in a cafe, enjoying a pumpkin spice flavored coffee beverage, and writing a post here on WIP.

But since it's not a weekday but a very special Saturday, let's not talk about anything important or meaningful or personally developing (as if that's what I've been doing lately), and instead, let's record some random thoughts!

  1. I'm wearing my "I just came from the stables" outfit (brown boots, leggings, blazer), and people are staring. Why? Do I look stylish or ridiculous?
  2. I've been having intense pain on my arm since last night (for a logical reason I'm not going to divulge here), so this morning, I took a painkiller. It worked. I didn't expect it to.
  3. It's 67 days until Christmas. It's going to be the most epic Christmas ever. My current plan is to do nothing but wear the comfiest pajamas and eat white chocolate and watch TV for the entirety of December.
  4. There is no reason not to put whipped cream and cinnamon on top of every cup of coffee you drink. Except perhaps lactose intolerance. Luckily, where I live, almost all dairy is lactose free.
  5. Is it weird that I'm proud of myself for not owning, never having owned, and having no plans of ever owning, a smartphone? People wonder how I survive. From my perspective, I thrive on a level they will never reach while holding the anchor that is their smartphone.
  6. On the same lines as the previous point: my sister told me that I'm the only person under 50 she knows that has a physical IKEA Family card (instead of a QR code on her phone).
  7. My home decluttering project has been a great success. (The storage unit, on the other hand, is still a relative mess.)

As a bonus, here are some questions on my mind right now:

8. Should I go watch Gladiator II?
9. Is 2025 going to be the most epic year ever?
10. Will our dog agree to wear a silly Christmas jumper in December?

RK out.
