The quickest way to use environmental change in subconscious reprogramming

In the post about the two stages of a glow up from last week, I mentioned environments. Changing your environment is one hell of a hack to bring about positive change. However, perhaps you don't have the luxury of moving to a new country, or even to a new city, or even to a new address within your city.

However, you can always alter your existing environment, which can be effective enough!

So whether you want to get into the Christmas mood, of rewrite every single one of your subconscious beliefs, here's how to make the most difference with the least effort:

  1. Declutter your home. Throw away everything you can, everything you don't need, everything you haven't used in a year.
  2. With all that needless junk out of the way, deep clean your home.
  3. With the house clean and decluttered, rearrange your furniture (or, if you threw all your furniture out, buy new furniture and arrange it in a new way).
  4. Switch your textiles: curtains, throw blankets and pillows, bed sheets, towels, rugs, everything.
  5. If you've used cool light so far, switch to warm light in your bulbs.
  6. Add some greenery (or more than some, it's up to you) and art.
  7. Light a scented candle and put on some new music.

And a bonus hack:

8. Start going to a new grocery store, a new cafe, and new restaurants.

Doing the activities in this list can take as little as a day, so I'd say that's among the quickest, if not the quickest, way to affect your psyche through environmental change.
