This might be the best morning of my life
I slept like a log last night. I went to bed around 8 and had what seemed like one continuous dream where I was tracking tree ships, on one of which Dracula was hiding in his last box of dirt, searched the first two, came to the conclusion that he had to be on the third one - Queen Anne's Revenge - but just then, that third ship sailed through the gates of Hell, so if I wanted to finish the Count and save Mina's soul, I would have to follow there, without any idea how or if I could ever come back through the gate again.
Right. I have to stop reading the novel just before falling asleep.
Anyway, I slept like a log, and woke up feeling refreshed (and looking nothing like it) to an absolutely gorgeous morning:
It's raining, it's windy, it's dark; the perfect autumn storm!
I had to take the dog out for an extended morning walk. He hates the rain, but I love it, I love getting my face and hair wet of rain, so naturally, an extended walk it was!
Now I'm sitting on the sofa in the living room. I turned off all the lights and opened the balcony door. I can hear the wind, I can smell the rain, I can hardly see to type this, and it's glorious.
I've waited all year for a morning like this.
I hope the rest of November will be exactly the same.
