Update on the Penthouse project, mid-October

The Penthouse progresses again! This time, I have two three pieces of news:

  1. I removed the TV cabinet knobs. They looked weird. The cabinet looks best with no knobs at all - just a sleek, minimalist look.
  2. The divan cover came, I installed it, and it's a million times better than the old worn-out gray cover. The new one is velvet, dark green, and amazing. What's not to love!
  3. Today I have some things on my agenda: cleaning the balcony of dead leaves, hanging the sconce and a piece of art, and clearing out the final pile of books on the floor.

Also, on another notes:

  1. My ficuses are doing great. Who would have thought they would survive? After all, my middle name used to be "ficus killer".
  2. I'm thinking of throwing out some old bathrobes and investing in new ones.
  3. Should I paint some walls..?

Ah, we'll see. I have to brush up my meditation skills. And pray to God while petting the dog. He was such a little helper when I was installing the new divan cover, haha!
