This is getting ridiculous.
I mean, I have started planning the gift list and I have procured some chocolates already.
But I have only looked at advent calendars and I still haven't chosen a style for the holiday greeting cards!
What the hell is this? Does the new me not care?! I mean, it's freaking Christmas that's approaching, not Halloween of whatever other not-so-important events there are!
Oh, right. Halloween is next Tuesday. Right. Oh well.
This is where I remember it's only October.
Not for long, though, so let's rectify this situation right now. Here are some ideas for a Christmas card design:
- Long, narrow design that folds in the middle (one panel in the middle with two half panels on the sides). Some intricate detail that keeps the folds in before you open it.
- Gold, white, and dark green color palette.
- Inside, a greeting on a hovering platform (using those little thick squares that have two sticky sides).
- A flappy pocket with a snowflake ornament inside.
Ooooohh I can see the cards in my mind already! I hope I can include all these ideas. Creativity is, after all, creative.
