I went crazy at the health store

. 1 min read

As per my new beauty routine to maximize my looks (vanity ahem), I went to the health store to look for something nice to treat myself after going to the gym. I found a new matte eye shadow. Then I saw additive free almond butter on sale. Then I found my favorite pasta - red lentil - and picked that up, too. Then I was heading to the cashier when I saw sugar free white chocolate with pistachio and orange flavoring. And then I saw cinnamon bun flavored dates. And then I saw coconut chips, no sugar added.

Now, before the future me judges me, let me clarify that I'm only going to try the chocolate and the dates and the coconut chips. And obviously I'm only going to have a small portion of the lentil pasta. I'll mainly focus on the eye shadow and make fudge out of the almond butter.

Obviously I'm not going to go crazy! I mean, it's almost November, this is not the time to indulge! Who knows, maybe I'll throw it all out, or save it for December!

Right. As if.

Well, I did throw out most of the chocolate, the dates, and the chips. The eye shadow turned out to be too dark. The box of lentil pasta is almost empty. And the almond butter was gone before I could make a single piece of fudge. (I enjoyed it with apple slices.)

That's how things go sometimes. Life is lifing.
