Here's the thing:
I'm getting quite excited about Christmas. I saw some chocolate advent calendars at the store today and couldn't help but feel uplifted by the prospect of strolling around department stores in December, procuring gifts, buying chocolate and ornaments, all while perhaps enjoying a festive beverage. But!
What about Legos?
I love the idea of assembling a Lego set over the Christmas holidays, which for me is the entire month of December. There's plenty of time to assemble any set, even a big one with thousands of pieces. Here are the current issues in frustratingly logical order:
- The new Winter Village set is hideous, so
- I'd love to get the Post Office one from last year, but
- I already have several unopened sets waiting in the basement, and
- I've been thinking that the Diagon Alley set would be a perfect Christmas holiday set, but
- I still have the Holiday Main Street set to assemble, and that is an actual Christmas set, though
- that set is significantly smaller than the Diagon Alley set and would thus only take a few hours max to assemble.
The truth is that I probably already know what I want to do, but haven't asked myself the question yet, haha!
