Not deviating from my daily schedule at all, I'm writing this post while sitting in a cafe after my gym workout (which, by the way, have gotten progressively easier with each session). My usual order is the pumpkin spice latte with half the syrup. That's how I've gotten my days going lately.
Except today, when I decided to try something new - a macchiato.
To be honest, I just wanted to know what it is.
To be completely honest, the PSL was insanely pricey at this particular cafe, so I decided to go for a more affordable option.
Although, to really bring honesty to the next level, I really, really like the PSL in this cafe - it has real heavy whipping cream in it instead of just regular milk - and I know I could afford it easily. It's just 7 euros (which is 7,8 dollars with today's rate).
It's my scarcity mindset talking again.
Which reminds me that a month ago, I was contemplating doing another "spend X amount of money every day for Y days straight" kind of challenge, but this time, making the sum increase with each passing day or week or month, allowing me time to get used to it. It was supposed to be a season-long challenge, all three months leading up to December. But then September began and I forgot the whole thing.
Maybe I should do it for just one month. You know, to kill this scarcity mindset about to surface again.
I'll get back to you on this.
RK out.
P.S. A macchiato turned out to be nothing but an espresso with a splash of milk.
