Yesterday, I reminisced about my office and all the fun stuff I got up to while I had it. Why am I talking in the past tense? I still have the office, fod goodness' sake! I'm sitting on the sofa there as we speak!
Well, the bookshelf is empty and the door is hideous and I no longer have any art of an industrial style mirror wall, but still.
So anyway - as I hypothesized yesterday, this office might be coming to an end just so that I get to have a new decoration project. (Something about universal manifestation magic thingies.) Whatever it is, I refuse to wallow in self-pity and sadness, and decide to think about all the possibilities, namely, decoration inspiration for a possible new office!
MUST-HAVES:
- A wireless keyboard and a wireless mouse. I just can't even with the wired versions anymore.
- On the same line... a box with a lid with a hole so I can hide all the wires and cables I can't avoid.
- A coffee pod maker. Luckily, I already have one.
- A bookshelf, preferably built-in.
- If I keep the fridge, I have to hide it somehow. I really dislike its aesthetics.
DECOR INSPIRATION VIBES:
- A lighter color palette compared to the old one (which was black-walnut-green). I'm thinking beige-sage-dusty pink. And maybe black, haha!
- Wall moldings?!
- A vintage armchair.
- A table that has a drawer to hide the wireless utensils mentioned above.
- If I get a TV, I want to be able to hide it inside the bookcase with doors - preferably sliding doors!
I wonder if I should even think about these things before I actually have a space. I'm getting wayyyy too excited for my own good.
