I have a relative who is younger than me (but still very much in an adult age, approaching 30) and who has struggled with finding something meaningful to do with life. Knowing no one is willing to take advice unless they ask for it, I've kept my mouth shut and watched, in horror, how she slips further and further into the social security benefit trap. She explains in detail how she finds reasons to ask the state for more money and then arranges it so that the money she gets won't affect the other benefits she gets from the state - and then describes all the useless junk she buys with the money. She seems utterly oblivious of the fact that the person she's telling all this to, me, is the one whose money it is. Some people apparently either have no awareness of the stuff that comes out of their mouths, or they can't understand that the free money they think comes from some infinite money well the state has has actually been taken by force from hardworking taxpayers. (She also told me that if she heard that I was arrested, her assumption would be that I got caught for running a pyramid scheme - which tells me that either she doesn't know me at all, or she doesn't know what a pyramid scheme is.) I don't know if she can be saved anymore, but I know I might not be able to stand this level of inconsiderateness for much longer.
(Just wanted to let the story above out. I don't like stuff like that nibbling at my soul.)
Also: I visited my hairdresser and asked for something a tad darker. She did an amazing job as always.
Another thing: since I have both publishing work and the Penthouse to decorate in the upcoming autumn season, will I have time to shoot The Weekly Wyat Season 3?
Then: I asked the barista of a coffee shop I like when they would be serving pumpkin spice coffee. She told me Tuesday. Looking forward to that!
And finally: while it is still Friday, the 29th of August, the weather has taken a turn for the colder and rainier, so I can happily say that my favorite time of the year - September to December, the months for which I stand the rest of the year - starts now!
