Reverse Benjamin Button syndrome

. 1 min read

People normally are born young and die old.

Those who have Benjamin Button syndrome are born old and die young.

Then there's reverse Benjamin Button syndrome, which isn't the same as normal people being born young and dying old, as they normally would.

Those who have reverse Benjamin Button syndrome are born psychologically old and die psychologically young. Every year of life makes them younger. Their childish naivete and spirit for life and curiosity and lightheartedness grow as their bodies age physically.

So while it's probably easiest to live the normal way as a normal person with normal aging process both physically and psychologically, the other options are a fair bit more interesting - if only because they're out of the normal.

I rest my case.
