So is progress the gateway to happiness?

For years, the tagline of WIP was progress equals happiness. At least it said so on the homepage of the YouTube channel. But is progress, in the end, the way to happiness?

After studying the human psyche for years and after writing several short e-books about the subject, I've arrived in a place where self help and personal development mean something completely different from the place where I started. It all began with efficiency, getting things done, waking up early, and chasing the high of achievement. It ended with the realization that all that is just fluff - being so busy that you won't have the chance to stop and investigate what it is that you try to hide with your busyness - what it is don't want to see about yourself.

What if the end goal, the ideal, is to be able to just be with no itching to go and hustle and be busy, and be so with complete ease?

Perhaps the end goal is to face whatever is inside, sit and have tea with those dragons, with no hurry and no need to escape?
