There are moments when my heart breaks

Usually I can't even explain why that particular moment does it. It's just... there. In the air. A flash of sorts - a happiness, or a joy, that just surfaces out of nowhere - and all I can do is ride the wave. And perhaps try not to break my heart with happiness.

Spending the day with my family, even if it's just an ordinary Saturday strolling around the city.

Taking the dog out for his evening toilet, and noticing that it's dark and rainy and the street lights are on.

Looking around our home and seeing all the potential and my potential to realize all that potential. (Stay tuned for a detailed story about the TV cabinet saga. It's turning out a real thriller.)

In a nutshell: this life is a fleeting privilege and I'm going to cherish it for as long as I have it.
