Yes, yes, I know it's only July, and not even mid-July, but when has that ever stopped me from fantasizing about autumn? I mean, already back in 2018 I started Christmas shopping in August.
Let me point out that August is in three weeks.
And I'm only now thinking about autumn.
So one could say that I'm actually quite late to list things to look forward in the fall. Ergo, I should hurry. Without further ado, here! A list!
- In the fall, I will have finished Moby-Dick, can finally discuss it, and will probably feel very sophisticated and educated for being able to do so.
- Speaking of novels - autumn has historically been a time for me to read Gothic novels, and there's one such novel specifically that I still have to read: Bram Stoker's Dracula.
- Before I forget, I'll mention the obvious ones: pumpkin spice coffee, Spirit of the Autumn God ASMR video, work, rain, wind, darkness, foliage, prepping for Christmas.
- Starting a new company (I'm scared and not at all sure that saying this out loud will help me overcome the fear).
- A new hobby that I definitely am not ready to say out loud yet for fear that I won't have the guts to go through with it.
- Maybe a trip abroad!
- Studying math, physics, English, and drawing.
- Mordor.
- Looking forward to Christmas.
(Is it weird if I'm looking forward to the act of looking forward to Christmas?)
Well, heck. This list almost makes me forget that I'm not who I thought I was and that I'm terrified I never will be.
