Update on my new healthy lifestyle!

I mentioned the other day that I snapped from life to creation quite instantaneously after getting sick of having knee pain and not liking the face I see in the mirror. (Or did I fail to mention the reasons? I don't remember.)

Fun fact, by the way: usually when I decide to eat healthier, I go all in on the opposite on the last night. But this time, I let the pendulum swing in the afternoon, with no plans or desire to force a few more hours of life out of it.

So, continuing - I quit sugar and dairy and decided to focus on nourishing and single-ingredient foods on top of making sure I get 100 grams of protein every day. (Meaning, bye bye to those delicious protein puddings with a million ingredients.) I've been having eggs and bacon and red meat and chicken wings, butter, olive oil, potatoes, pears, herbs, coffee, tea, water, alcohol, and homemade peanut butter fudge.

And I feel great! My knees are starting to ache significantly less than before (and I suppose cutting out pears could help even more), and I'm beginning to recognize the face in the mirror. I even feel a bit lighter in my skin.

So! Note to future self! Eat nourishing food. Sugar and dairy perhaps aren't all that good for you.

(I sound like this is the first time ever I've come to a realization like this.)
