Great news - in contrast to what I said the other day, waiting has since become a form of work! Here's how my day goes: I get some work done in the morning, which feels great, but then in the afternoon I feel like I can't work any more because then I'd get everything done too soon (after all, there's still over a week left), so it seems to me that I just wait for the afternoon to be over, so that I can go home and wait for the evening to be over so that I can sleep through the night and get back to work the next morning, when there's one day less left do get everything done.
Why don't I just work through the afternoon and the evening and then pick up some more work if I get everything done too soon?
Hasn't that been my solution all these years?
I guess one week is such a short time that I fear that if I do pick up some extra work, there's a risk I won't get it done in time, and then I won't earn Christmas.
But if I can convince myself to consider waiting as a form of work, I can't fail it, because waiting always gets done, and it gets done just in time.
So there's that.
Anyway, just wanted to drop in to say some random things.
RK out.
