Finally - finally! - I have made some progress with my Christmas preparations. For the longest time (two weeks?), all I had procured was chocolates and a little jar of mustard. Now, I have evolved to a completely new stage:
- I have new Christmas lights! and
- I bought some card making and gift wrapping thingies! and
- Candles that smell like gingerbread cookies!
I know, it's not much. But those three are completely new categories compared to just chocolates. So, in my mind, I've progressed enormously!
I still haven't compiled a list of recipes yet, though. Or begun thinking about gift ideas.
But the good news is that the Christmas department at our nearby department store opens this week, and if there's a place to get inspired about decorations and ornaments for the trees, that is it!
