I just found out that they're tearing down the building where I have my office. This is why they're terminating my lease. Which means that I have just under two months to
- figure out where the heck I'm going to put all that furniture,
- clear the room, and
- say goodbye.
This feels like a big deal. After all, not only has it been the headquarters of my publishing house for years now, it's also the place where I shot videos for Worth in Progress, from the earliest "how to get up early" videos to the latest Weekly Wyat podcast seasons. If and when I produce a third season, it will be in a different setting.
Which both excites me, and makes me nostalgic.
But hey, if there's anything I've learned these past few years, it's that change is good. Change is movement in the right direction. Letting go of this office means that I'm moving on to greater and better things.
And that, if anything, should excite me, since I'm already in awe about how far I've come in terms of my psychology and unconscious limiting beliefs - which means that I now know that I'm only just getting started with them. Whatever comes next will be in alignment with my new and improved mentality.
Here's an article about my first office at the soon-to-be-dead building, back from 2018, and here's another one from 2021 about my second, and last, office in said building.
(I just realized - having to quit the office means that I'll get to pick a new one sooner or later, which means that I'll get to decorate one from scratch... which means another "how to decorate your office step by step, WIP edition" article!)
