Summer wisdom 6:
No one knows better than you what you should do.
This applies to everything - which profession you choose, what do you do with your free time, who your friends are, how and where you sleep, what you eat, what you choose to do to your body or mind - everything. No one else knows better than you, and you're free to do whatever you want with your life and your body. Your parents don't know better than you, even if you've thought of them as authorities all your life. Your friends don't know better than you, even if you idolize them. The government or the state or some other public entitiy doesn't know better than you, even if it has tried to brainwash you ever since you were little.
You're the best and only expert on your own life. Act accordingly.
